Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines how you may cancel an order or request a refund for books and related products purchased through the website https://www.thethalir.in (“Platform”).


Order Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation of an order within 5 days of placing the order.

However, cancellation requests may not be accepted if:

  • The order has already been processed or packed;
  • The order has been handed over to the courier or shipping partner; or
  • The product is already out for delivery.

In such cases, customers may choose to reject the package at the time of delivery.


Return and Replacement Policy

At Thalir Puthagam, we take utmost care in packaging and delivering books and related products.

If you receive:

  • A damaged book,
  • A defective product,
  • An incorrect item, or
  • A product that is significantly different from what was displayed on the Platform,

please contact our customer support team within 5 days of delivery.

After reviewing the issue and verifying the complaint, we may offer:

  • A replacement,
  • or
  • A refund,

depending on the nature of the issue.

Customers may be required to provide photographs or other proof of damage or incorrect delivery for verification purposes.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items may not be eligible for return or cancellation:

  • Used or damaged books after delivery;
  • Books returned without original packaging;
  • Digital products, downloadable content, or e-books (if applicable);
  • Products damaged due to misuse by the customer.

Manufacturer Warranty

If any product includes a manufacturer warranty, customers are requested to contact the respective manufacturer directly for warranty-related claims.


Refund Processing

If a refund request is approved, the refund will generally be processed within 3 business days.

Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during purchase.

Payments made through third-party payment providers such as PhonePe and Cashfree may take additional time depending on their processing timelines.
